SAN ANTONIO -

Spurs All-Star point guard Tony Parker is scheduled to undergo an MRI Tuesday after he injured his knee while playing for France in an exhibition game against Spain.

French website L'Equipe reports the injury happened to Parker's right knee and the MRI will determine the extent of the damage.

Parker sustained the injury last week and had to sit out practice with the French National Team, then re-aggravated the injury Monday during the exhibition with Spain.

Parker is practicing with the French team for next week's EuroBasket tournament in Slovenia.

Parker indicated after the game he did not believe the injury was serious and felt he would be ready for the tournament.
