Spurs guard Tony Parker will have to miss the next two games after suffering a contusion to his right shin during the Spurs 115-92 loss to the Clippers in Los Angeles.
Parker, the Spurs leading scorer, suffered the injury during the third quarter of Monday night’s game with 5:45 to play in the period. Parker collided with the Clippers Jared Dudley and limped off the court and did not return. Parker will now miss Wednesday night’s game against the Suns in Phoenix and Thursday night’s game against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland.
The Spurs released a statement on Tuesday night that says Parker will be reevaluated when the team returns to San Antonio at which point his status for Saturday night’s Spurs-Thunder game will be determined.
