A train clipped the trailer of an 18-wheeler on the Northeast Side Thursday morning.
The truck driver told investigators he couldn't avoid the accident.
Investigators said the wreck happened just before 9 a.m. at Interstate 35 and Fratt Road.
The big rig driver pulled behind a car waiting to make a left turn.
The tail end of the truck's cab remained on the tracks.
Once the railroad crossing came down, the big rig driver was unable to move due to the vehicle in front of him.
The train clipped the end of the 18-wheeler.
No injuries were reported.
