SAN ANTONIO -

It was a close call for a driver after a train clipped his Lexus.

The incident happened just before midnight at the railroad tracks near East Commerce and Hoefgen.

Police said the driver was going down East Commerce when he noticed some railroad crossing arms coming down.

He backed up to avoid getting hit and the train yanked off the car bumper.

The driver got out to take a look at his car and then took off.
