SAN ANTONIO -

Three separate accidents resulted in two injuries between late Friday night and early Saturday morning.

The first accident happened around 9:30 p.m. Friday near South General McMullen Drive and Castroville Road.

According to police a man was jaywalking when he was hit by a van.

The man was knocked to the ground and hit his head on the pavement. He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the van will not be facing any charges.

The second accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday on East Southcross Boulevard.

According to police, a minivan was traveling East on Southcross when he was broadsided by another vehicle traveling westbound while trying to make a left turn, causing the minivan to rollover.

The driver of the minivan was taken to Santa Rosa Hospital.

No word on his condition.

The third accident happened around 3:20 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of East Houston Street.

Two men were traveling West on Houston Street when the vehicle they were in became stuck on the railroad tracks.

Union Pacific stopped all train traffic until a wrecker removed the car from the tracks.

No injuries were reported.
