Security guards caught on camera tackling, hitting fans after Houston victory

HOUSTON – A Texas university ends its contract with a security firm after punches are thrown.

The University of Houston announced Sunday that it has ended its contract with a security company after video surfaced showing guards kicking and punching fans.

The incident happened Saturday after the Cougars football team won the American Athletic Conference title.

In the video you can see a man who appears to be kicked and punched by guards.

Several people attending the game say other fans were pushed by the members of the security firm as they tried to rush the field.

The company, Contemporary Services Corporation and the university’s police department say they are investigating the incident.
