Did a Little Caesars serve up DiGiorno frozen pizzas to its customers? That's what a now-viral video appears to show, but the pizza chain is offering an explanation.

Twitter user @Vinandwesson posted a video Saturday showing a woman with a cart filled with DiGiorno pizza boxes standing behind the counter of a Little Caesars and talking with an employee. He captioned the video, "this can't be happening right in front of me."

The post sent people into a tizzy on social media, especially after it was shared by Chrissy Tiegen to her millions of Twitter followers.

DiGiorno embraced the attention, retweeting and responding to tweets on the subject.

But Little Caesars says it's a misunderstanding due to a funny coincidence. Turns out, the Griffith, Indiana shop is located inside a K-Mart superstore.

A statement released to PEOPLE Magazine reads, in part:

"Little Caesars only serves freshly baked pizzas made from fresh dough... no DiGiorno pizzas were baked or served at this Little Caesars location ... On that day, Kmart received a few complaints from customers about having purchased expired DiGiorno pizzas from that location, and because it was so close to closing time, the K-Mart manager directed his employee to temporarily store them in a cooler adjacent to the Little Caesars location for disposal in the morning.”
