SAN ANTONIO -

The Texas chapters of the Military Order of the Purple Heart held their annual convention in San Antonio where they displayed a traveling wall honoring servicemen and women killed during the War on Terror.

The wall was on display at the El Tropicano hotel in downtown San Antonio on Saturday.

Alina Wright's husband, Army Specialist James Wright, was killed in Iraq in September 2003. She was at the hotel for a karate tournament for her son Jamison, who was born three months after his father died.

"I just happened to see the wall and came over and saw it," said Wright. "Just wanted to see it and say, 'Wow some people are still out there thinking about our boys.'"

Wright's son, Jamison, followed her and found his dad's picture on the wall.

"As soon as he saw what I was looking at, he was like, 'There's my Dad, there's my Dad!' Wright said.

"I felt good," said Jamison. "I knew my Dad was watching me."

The wall will travel across Texas throughout the year.
