A Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitive has been arrested in San Antonio.

According to Department of Public Safety officials, Robert Anthony Lopez, 48, a Tango Blast gang member, was arrested on Friday.

DPS officials said Lopez has an extensive criminal history that includes aggravated sexual assault of a child, assault causing bodily injury, injury to a disabled person, violation of protective order and prohibited weapons.

After receiving tips placing Lopez at a San Antonio residence, DPS officials said the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit arrested him.

The arrest was the result of two tips, and those tipsters who contributed information leading to Lopez's arrested will be a total reward of $7,500.

Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in four different ways:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Text the letters DPS – followed by your tip – to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
  • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All calls, texts, e-mails and Facebook messages are anonymous.
