SAN ANTONIO -

Multiple flights at San Antonio International Airport were canceled or delayed Tuesday morning due to winter weather across the country.

SAIA was just one of many airports affected by this week's winter blast. Many of the cancellations at San Antonio International Airport involved flights to Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Phoenix, Minneapolis and San Francisco.

Most major airlines had at least one cancellation and involved flights leaving or arriving before 9 a.m.

One traveler told KSAT he would have to wait six hours before getting on another flight. These cancellations were mostly due to bad weather in other cities.
