SAN ANTONIO – A spending spree ended with a woman behind bars.
Theresa Mays, 45, is accused of taking an elderly man's credit card while he was fighting for his life at the hospital. The elderly man later died.

Investigators with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said surveillance video shows Mays using the card.
Sheriff's deputies said Mays went to the Family Dollar, BP Beauty Supplies in Windcrest and to a gas station. Officials said she made purchases totaling $583.07.
Mays worked at the assisted-living facility where the man lived. The Sheriff’s Office said she has had prior arrests.
Mays is charged with credit card-debit card abuse - elderly.
