SAN ANTONIO -

Two people were hurt in separate accidents on San Antonio roads late Thursday night.

The first accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at Interstate 10 and Vance Jackson Road.

San Antonio police said a couple got into an argument and the woman jumped from a car her boyfriend was driving.

She was taken to University Hospital for treatment. Her boyfriend was not expected to face charges, police said.

About 10 minutes later, police responded to another incident on the roads. A man reportedly stepped in front of a passing pickup truck in the 1200 block of Brighton Avenue on the South Side.

A witness saw a white truck strike the man and continue going. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a leg injury.

Police said he may have been intoxicated and the driver did not stop to render aid. Charges were unknown in the second accident.
