QUEMADO, Texas – According to bilingual news medium “Conexion Del Rio,” 69-year-old Lucila Robles was killed in an explosion that happened near Quemado in Maverick County this week.
The explosion happened Monday morning. A tractor-trailer went off the road, caught fire and exploded in front of Robles’ home.

Four others were injured.
Robles’ family said services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Quemado. The funeral will be sometime next week in San Antonio. Count on KSAT 12 News for updates.
Quemado is along Highway 277, between Del Rio and Eagle Pass.
