SAN ANTONIO – A Southwest Side woman is in the hospital after being shot in the face overnight, San Antonio police said Thursday.
The shooting was reported just before midnight in the 5100 block of Red Hawk Street, found not far from Old Pearsall Road.
Police said a car pulled up to the home and that's when someone inside the vehicle started firing.
The victim shot was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
Investigators said they do not know yet what sparked the shooting.
Neither a description of the car or the shooter is currently known.
