Police say shooter fired bullets during altercation with other men
A man is in custody after a shooting outside a north side bar that wounded two people.
A woman and a man were shot just after 2 a.m. outside Bar Louie in the 22,000 block of 281 North.
Police say the suspected shooter argued with two other men in a parking lot.
They say when the argument turned physical the suspect pulled a gun and began shooting.
Investigators say bullets hit a woman in the head and a man in the lower torso.
EMS transported the man and the woman to University Hospital.
Police say the woman was in serious condition and the man was in stable condition.
They say they arrested the suspected shooter, 36-year-old Cody Waters, and charged him with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying.
Waters' bond has been set at $205,000.
