SAN ANTONIO -

A man wearing fatigues stabbed a woman over a barking dog at a home at the Lackland Training Annex.

According to Brent Boller, a spokesman for Joint Base San Antonio, the man walked into the home at 8:20 a.m. Monday and complained about a dog barking.

An argument ensued, and that's when the man used a steak knife to stab the woman, Boller said.

The woman, the wife of a military member, was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.

The victim told military investigators that the man was wearing fatigues, but there wasn't a name tag on the uniform.

The San Antonio Police Department's helicopter helped in the search for the man, but he remains on the loose.
