Woman wrecks, runs from overnight crash site
Police say she left injured passenger behind
Police are searching for a woman driver who crashed, then ran leaving her injured passenger behind.
The wreck happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday near 410 and Evers Rd.
Police believe the woman was trying to exit the highway when she hit a guard rail, bounced to the left, hit the center median, and then bounced to the other side hitting a guard rail again.
She lost her right tire in the wreck.
Police say she got out of the car and ran from the scene.
Her male passenger was injured and taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
