Mike Osterhage has been with KSAT since 1995.
He was born in Michigan and attended Western Michigan University and Oakland University, where he graduated with honors.
Mike's favorite part of his job is getting to do things that he wouldn't normally be able to do, like flying in an F-16 with the Air Force Thunderbirds.
His proudest moments are when viewers or co-workers compliment him on a fair, accurate and thorough story.
Mike doesn't have a most embarrassing moment because he says, "Which one? Hey ... it's live TV!"
His favorite movies are "It's a Wonderful Life," "Young Frankenstein" and James Bond movies. He also loves to read books by Tom Clancy.
In his spare time, Mike likes to cook, build furniture and play golf.
