Corn in a cup gelato?! Where to get your hands on this creative sweet treat

NEW BRAUNFELS – From hooked-up hot chocolates and decked-out Jarritos floats, Scoop Street has a lot of wild dessert options.

The weirdest may just be their Elote en Vaso – sweet corn gelato, topped with sweet corn spicy seasoning, cojita cheese and a lime wedge.

Scoop Street is known around New Braunfels for their unique gelato flavors and their wacky art.

“We are new and successful because of our regular customers,” said owner Jason Rodriguez. “Thank you for welcoming us to downtown New Braunfels.”

Jason Rodriguez and business partner Peter Landerman opened scoop street in February to give the hill country city a fun twist on a classic dessert.

“We’re constantly adapting to our customer's tastes,” said Landerman.

On top of all the sweet treats being served, Scoop Street offers classic espressos, americanos and cappuccinos with impressive late art.

Their sweet treats are unique and fun, making it a great place to try when you travel to New Braunfels in November for Wurstfest.
