The commission said its members, along with president Robert Thrailkill, CEO Edward Benavides, KSAT 12 anchor Ursula Pari and Tricentennial Community partners representatives are expected to be at the announcement.

Organizers said the nonprofit organizations announced will enrich the city's 300th anniversary experience by partnering with the Tricentennial on events and activities that reflect the city and county’s history and diversity.

The commission is accepting applications to become a community partner until March 1. Organizers said potential community partners are evaluated on the organization's alignment with the Tricentennial Guiding Principles.

The community is encouraged to apply online at sanantonio300.org to become a part of the city's 300th anniversary, the commission said.
