Spurs' Duncan, Bobcats' Wallace Earn NBA Weekly Honors

New York, NY -- (Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats' Gerald Wallace and San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan were named the NBA's Eastern and Western Conference players of the week, respectively, for the period ending November 29.
In three games last week, Wallace averaged 25.3 points, 13.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals as he helped Charlotte to wins over Toronto, Cleveland and Washington. He scored a season-high 31 points in both the Raptors and Cavaliers games.
Duncan helped the Spurs to a 4-0 week by averaging 21.8 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and 2.5 blocks. He also averaged a .583 shooting percentage mark and posted three double-doubles.
With 21 points in the Spurs' win over the Rockets on Friday, he passed Terry Cummings for 39th on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
Other nominees for the awards were Cleveland's LeBron James, Denver's Carmelo Anthony, Golden State's Monta Ellis, the Clippers' Marcus Camby, Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, Orlando's Dwight Howard, Phoenix's Steve Nash and Sacramento's Tyreke Evans.
