Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff wants to explore the possibility of building a stadium for the National Football League and Major League Baseball within the next five years.

"Build a good stadium, improve the sidelines for football, and play both sports there," Wolff told KSAT 12 News on Monday.

San Antonio isn't currently ready for an NFL team, according to Wolff, who agrees with Mayor Phil Hardberger's opposition to building a stadium for the New Orleans Saints.

But San Antonio's future, Wolff believes, is a different story.

He's asking the county for an economic analysis to determine the feasibility of a new stadium, which he would like to see built along Interstate 35 in the northern part of the county.
