SAN ANTONIO -- It looks as if the New Orleans Saints will be returning to Louisiana.

KSAT 12 caught up with the commissioner while on his way to meet with the Saints players. He said he would not comment on any agreements until after that meeting. However, he did say he was grateful to city of San Antonio.

"In the aftermath of Katrina, it's been a tough situation for everybody," NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue said. "We know that San Antonio is up and coming. We appreciate the city, the business community, the fans -- and we'll talk about that later as well."

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Express-News reported Friday that Tagliabue has reached an agreement with team owner Tom Benson to send the Saints home after the season ends Sunday.
