A.J. Foyt has been released from a hospital in Houston where he was being treated for complications from knee surgery on Saturday night.
The 77-year-old Foyt had knee surgery two weeks ago, and an infection sent him to the hospital Wednesday. He is still taking antibiotics for the infection.
The four-time Indianapolis 500 winner was forced to skip the 50th anniversary of the Rolex 24 at Daytona due to the complications.
Foyt was scheduled to be the grand marshal Saturday at Daytona International Speedway.
