Burglars recently broke into Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza's home and stole his 2008 American League championship ring he earned while pitching with the Tampa Bay Rays, according to the Fresno Bee.

The robbery happened at some point between January 26 and this morning at Garza's Fresno County, California home.
The ring was engraved with Garza's name and is valued at $30,000.
The 28-year-old has an arbitration hearing scheduled for Friday. He requested $12.5 million and was offered $7.95 million from the Cubs when figures were exchanged earlier this month.
