Phil Mickelson has returned to the top 10 of the world golf rankings.

The four-time major winner moved up two spots to No. 9 in the latest rankings, which were released on Monday.

"Lefty" won the Pebble Beach National pro-am two weeks ago and tied for second after a three-way playoff at the Northern Trust Open in California.

Mickelson had been out of the top 10 for nearly five months.
