Oregon can inch closer to its first conference championship in 11 years when it hosts Oregon State in a Pac-12 game Thursday night. The Ducks began the week tied atop the league with Arizona, which Oregon beat in the only meeting this season. Some good news emanated from the Ducks camp this week when coach Dana Altman said freshman point guard Dominic Artis could play against the Beavers after missing the last nine games with a foot injury. Oregon has gone 5-4 without Artis.Oregon State's season took a bad turn when 6-10 sophomore forward Eric Moreland was suspended for three games in mid-January for violating team rules. Since then, the Beavers have gone 3-11. Moreland averages 9.3 points and 10.6 rebounds, similar to the 9.2 and 9.8 averaged by Oregon senior forward Arsalan Kazemi.TV: 11 p.m. ET, ESPNU.ABOUT OREGON STATE (13-15, 3-12 Pac-12): Roberto Nelson has reached double figures in scoring in 13 straight games, which is tied for the third-longest active streak in the Pac-12.
