Brandon Davies contributed 22 points and nine rebounds and Matt Carlino finished with 20 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for third-seeded BYU (22-11), which will play Tennessee or Mercer in the second round.C.J. Wilcox scored 20 points to lead the sixth-seeded Huskies (18-16). Shawn Kemp Jr. added 15 points and a career-high 11 rebounds and Andrew Andrews finished with 12 points off the bench for Washington.BYU led for most of the first half, extending its lead to as many as seven points before Wilcox hit a 3-pointer with five seconds left to give the Huskies a 35-33 halftime lead. Haws had 17 points at the half.The Cougars went ahead by nine thanks to a 9-0 run that was capped by Carlino's 3-pointer with 12:17 remaining.
