Maryland 67, Wake Forest 57: Dez Wells scored 23 points as the visiting Terrapins overcame foul trouble to win their second road game in conference play.Wells scored 11 in the first half and added 12 in the second on 11-for-12 shooting. Sophomore center Alex Len grabbed 10 rebounds for Maryland (20-9, 8-8 ACC), which won despite committing 24 personal fouls and shooting 3-for-14 from 3-point range.Senior guard C.J. Harris had 19 points to lead the Demon Deacons (12-16, 5-11), while freshman Devin Thomas contributed 17 points and seven rebounds. Wake Forest shot a dismal 32.7 percent from the floor and could not capitalize on 19 Maryland turnovers, committing 18 of its own.Maryland led by six at halftime, but Wells and Len were both on the bench early in the second half with three fouls each, allowing Wake Forest to go on a 9-0 run and take a slim lead. Once the two Terrapins were back in the game, Maryland used a 10-1 run midway through the half to regain the lead for good.Senior guard Logan Aronhalt was the only Maryland player to make a 3-point basket in the game. Aronhalt finished with nine points on 3-for-7 shooting from behind the arc.GAME NOTEBOOK: Maryland has one more road game this season: next Sunday at Virginia.
