San Jose gets left wing in exchange for defenseman Sullivan

The San Jose Sharks acquired left wing Tim Kennedy from the Florida Panthers on Thursday for defenseman Sean Sullivan.

Kennedy has collected a goal and an assist in 27 games with the Panthers this season. The 25-year-old Kennedy has 11 goals, 18 assists and 54 penalty minutes during his NHL career.

Sullivan has yet to play in an NHL contest. The 27-year-old Boston native has recorded five goals and 19 assists in 32 games with Worcester of the American Hockey League.
