SAN ANTONIO -

Tony Parker will not play in tonight’s game in Denver after all.

The Spurs had updated his status to probably before the team departed for the mile high city on Tuesday, but just about an hour and 15 minutes before tip-off, the Spurs announced that their star point guard would be sidelined for the second straight game with a sore neck.

Parker suffered the original injury in the win over the Clippers last week when Deandre Jordan fell on his head under the basket. He would leave the game after being on the floor for a few minutes, but would return.

Parker also missed the Spurs win over the Hawks on Saturday night with the same injury.

As a result of Parker sitting tonight, that means the Spurs will be down 4 players against Denver, including Stephen Jackson (ankle), Boris Diaw (back) and Manu Ginobili (hamstring).
