San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker had surgery to remove shards of glass from his left eye, injuries he sustained during a bar brawl in New York last week, according to his own website.
Parker suffered the injury after he was hit by flying glass in a fight involved Chris Brown and Drake.
Earlier this week, Parker filed a $20 million lawsuit against the nightclub where the fight happened.
POLL: Who should be held responsible for Parker's injury?
Parker said he'll be flying back to the United States on July 5 to be examined by a specialist and Spurs doctors, according to a translation of the post on his website.
It's unclear when Parker will return to action. The injury jeopardizes Parkers' status for the upcoming Olympics.
