SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs summer league team defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in a rematch, this time winning 101-95 in Las Vegas.

Guard Bryn Forbes once again led the summer Spurs in scoring with 35 points, and added three assists and two steals in 29 minutes.

After struggling to shoot consistently in Utah, San Antonio shot 51.6 percent in the game and scored more than 23 points in every quarter.

Davis Bertans scored 20 points in his best game so far and Shayne Whittington added 13 points and six rebounds.

Spurs' point guard Dejounte Murray again struggled from the field for the second straight game scoring only five points but did have four assists and three rebounds. 2017 draft pick Derrick White did not play.

Aaron Harrison led Philadelphia with 14 points and got help from Alex Poythress and Isaiah Miles who both scored 10 points each.

76ers guard and first overall pick Markelle Fultz suffered a sprained ankle on Saturday and did not play versus the Spurs.

The Spurs next play the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday afternoon.
