Fan support of Spurs remains strong despite loss

The team’s season came to an abrupt end after Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals Thursday night following a 113-99 loss to the Thunder in Oklahoma City.

Fans waiting their return had signs and banners welcoming the team back to the Alamo City.

The players waved as they exited the plane, but declined to greet with fans.

Many in the crowd said they remain committed to the team, and one person even held up a sign asking Tim Duncan to come back from one more season.

Much doubt has been cast on who will return for the 2016-17 season.

Tim Duncan said he will "get to that when I get out of here, and figure life out."

Manu Ginobili also echoed a similar sentiment telling the media after the game he will "take his time" when deciding what the future holds.
