The Spurs have won seven of their last eight games but are still stinging about a recent road loss in New Orleans.

"We really don't care about the record right now," veteran guard Manu Ginobili told reporters after Saturday's victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. "Of course it's good to be 10-3, but we didn't have a super tough schedule, but it's going to get tougher soon. We should have won one or two more games, but at the same time, we are building and we are trying to get better."

Phoenix is 1-1 on a three-game road trip after suffering a 122-116 road loss against the Pelicans on Sunday. The Suns made 17 3-pointers in the loss but were just 18-of-54 on their two-point attempts.

ABOUT THE SUNS (7-6): Phoenix guard Eric Bledsoe tallied 29 points in the loss to New Orleans to run his streak of consecutive 20-point games to eight. Bledsoe is averaging 24.9 points during the stretch and briefly left Sunday's contest with knee soreness but coach Jeff Hornacek indicated it wasn't a serious issue. "He said he got hit in the knee and felt his knee buckle on something," Hornacek told reporters. "He came out at halftime and took a couple of steps and it was bothering him."

ABOUT THE SPURS (10-3): San Antonio clamped down on the defensive end in Saturday's 92-82 victory over the Grizzlies, one night after a suspect effort in a 104-90 loss to New Orleans. Center Tim Duncan had four steals as the Spurs forced 17 turnovers, limited Memphis was limited to one 3-point field goal and extinguished the Grizzlies' late comeback attempt. "Memphis played well in the fourth quarter to bring the lead back to single digits," said forward Kawhi Leonard, who scored a game-high 19 points. "We just kept fighting on the defensive end and made some good plays down the stretch."
