Tony Parker has had an eventful summer, but nothing might literally be as cool as the basketball game he hosted this week atop a glacier in Switzerland.

Parker and his sponsor Tissot hosted the 5-on-5 game on Wednesday on the scenic Aletsch glacier.

The glacier is more than 11,000 feet above sea level and located on the Jungfraujoch mountain in the Bernese Alps.

The glacier is commonly referred to as “The Top of Europe.”  Parker’s squad, made up of players from his French team ASVEL Villeurbanne, played against players from the Swiss league.

Parker had this to say, via Eurohoops.net, about the glacier game experience:

“I’m always up for new challenges, so when Tissot, my long-term partner suggested I play a game at the top of Europe, I thought it was a great opportunity to do something exceptional,” Parker said. “We don’t often get to play often in such extreme conditions.”

With the birth of his second child, his last run at the summer Olympics and now his game on a glacier, Parker could truly say he is on top of the world.

Parker and the Spurs will begin training camp on Sept. 27. They play their first preseason game on Oct. 3 at Phoenix.
