The San Antonio Spurs and forward Tiago Splitter have agreed to a new contract.
The new deal is worth $36 million over four years, Yahoo! Sports reported.
The contract can't be signed until July 10, when the league's annual moratorium on signings and trades will be lifted.
The Spurs got moving on the deal after two teams, including the Portland Trailblazers, considered offering the power forward a 3-year $25 million contract.
The Spurs still have decisions to make on free agents Manu Ginobili and Gary Neal.
