SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs continued their streaks with another lopsided rivalry victory.
The Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-83 Sunday night at the AT&T Center. It’s their second win over the Mavericks this season.

San Antonio has now won 24 straight at home this season and 11 in a row overall.
It was a very cold start for both teams. At one point in the first quarter, the Spurs just were just 2 for 15 from the field.
They scored a season low 14 points. Didn't look too good until you look at what the Mavericks did, they only scored 16.
San Antonio turned it up in the second period. Once again they got a big lift from their bench. Jonathon Simmons came in and hit back-to-back three's. He finished with 14.
"He did a good job tonight," said Kawhi Leonard.
"We were looking for anybody on the team to start making shots and that got us going," said Boris Diaw.
Diaw also hit a couple of big buckets and had 16 points on the night. Before the Mavericks knew what hit them, the Spurs went on 17-2 run to open up a 10-point lead at the half, 46-36.
But even down 10, the Mavericks still felt pretty good coming out of the locker room.
"I felt like today our defensive energy was there. I think we got two, three, four stops right away coming out of halftime, but offensively I don't think we could ever establish a rhythm," said Dirk Nowitzki.
After those few stops, there was a Spurs onslaught thanks to LaMarcus Aldridge who caught fire. He scored 13 in the quarter on 6 of 7 shooting.
"I felt like I made those first two and guys just kept feeding me out there. I was trying, you know, just make plays out there for us,” Aldridge said.
At one point Aldridge hit five field goals in a row. He finished with 23 points.
The offense may not have been as consistent as the Spurs would like, but once again their defense was solid throughout.
Dirk Nowitzki came into the game averaging almost 18 points a game.
He only hit two out of ten shots for four points and got blocked, emphatically, by Tim Duncan in third quarter. That ended Nowitzki's night.
"It is what it is. I don't think we shot the ball well at all today as a team," said Nowitzki.
“San Antonio goes hard and they can make you look bad, we got beat, we got beat bad," said Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle.
It got so bad for the Mavericks, Carlisle picked up back-to-back technical fouls and got ejected with just over 11 minutes left in the game.
The Spurs kept pouring it on and and got the lead to 31 points. They will go back on the road starting in Phoenix Thursday night.

Fan Favorite Boban Marjanovic got called for a technical foul after the an official said he was taunting.
Marjanovic dunked over Jeremy Evans, hung on the rim for a second while still standing on the floor, and gave Evans a little stare. "Now I know," said Marjanovic.
The Spurs victory over the Mavericks is the 15th time this season the Spurs have won by 20 points or more.
