SAN ANTONIO – A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.
The accident was reported just before 9 p.m. Sunday on Blanco Road near Hildebrand Road on the city's near North Side.
Police said the bicyclist was hit when a vehicle heading northbound made a left-hand turn.
The driver of the vehicle told police that he did not see the cyclist.
The bike did not have any reflectors on it, police said.
The bicyclist was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
There is no word on if the driver will face any charges.
