SAN ANTONIO – A simple driving mistake led to a head-on collision that damaged two vehicles overnight, San Antonio police said Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Monday on La Cantera Parkway near Interstate 10 on the city's North Side.
Police said a driver in a white car was unfamiliar with the area when it headed south on the wrong-side of the road and attempted to make a u-turn. That's when, police said, a pick-up truck heading north at the time crashed head-on into the vehicle.
The two people inside the truck and the driver of the car were all treated at the scene by emergency response crews.
Police said no alcohol was involved in the accident.
