SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist is in the hospital following a collision with a vehicle overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.
The accident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. on Loop 1604 west and Wiseman Boulevard near Northwest Vista College on the city's far West Side.
Police said a car was making a right-hand turn onto Loop 1604 when the motorcyclist crashed into the back of it after seeing the vehicle too late.
Investigators at the scene said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet when he hit his head on the road.
EMS crews rushed the motorcyclist to University Hospital for his injuries.
His condition is not known.
