SAN ANTONIO -- Downtown San Antonio is ready to party this weekend.
Just it time for spring break, the annual Luminaria celebration takes place on Saturday at 6 p.m., when hundreds of artists will be showing off their work.
One of the big attractions at the free event will be window art by local artist Jill Giles that was featured on "Good Morning America" during it's Holiday Window Series.
"It's particularly good it's being launched and unveiled during Luminaria," Giles said. "It's a time when a lot of artists and craftspeople are going to be showing their wares."
Other fun stuff going on downtown includes the St. Patrick's Day celebration at 11 a.m., when the San Antonio River will be dyed green. A parade follows at 3 p.m.
The Institute of Texan Cultures will also have some fun for kids starting at 4 p.m.
