Kansas City, Missouri – A member of the Kansas City Royals grounds crew was nearly trampled by the tarp Thursday night at Kauffman Stadium during Game 1 of the ALDS between the Houston Astros and the Royals.
During a rain delay in the third inning the crew worked to get the tarp on the field as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, one member was almost engulfed by the tarp until another member of the crew stepped in to try to help.
According to reports, the crew member did escape without injury. He did however become a twitter sensation overnight.
