Additional Hurricane Gustav Coverage

  • The local chapter of the American Red Cross needs volunteers. People interested in volunteering can contact the Red Cross Information Line at 210-582-1997 or go to Freeman Colisuem at 3201 East Houston Street. Interested volunteers need to provide photo identification, a list of available hours and must be at least 18 years old. There will be volunteer training available.
  • Legacy Middle School in the East Central ISD and Dwight Middle School in the South San ISD will both be closed Tuesday as they are currently being used for evacuees.
