Heavy rain, severe storms possible late Monday, Tuesday

Cold front will stall over South Texas

SAN ANTONIO – A cold front will make itself at home across South Texas late Monday into Tuesday, with the potential to drop a couple of inches of rain, forecasters said.

There is also a chance for severe storms as well.

Your Weather Authority Meteorologist Adam Caskey said a cold front will drop across the area Monday, bringing the greatest chance for severe storms late that evening.

By Tuesday, widespread rainfall will develop over the area and could drop anywhere from 1 to 3 inches.
