Isolated storms today, some possibly severe

Morning clouds will give way to a mixture of sun and clouds this afternoon. High temperatures will reach into the upper 80s to near 90.

By the afternoon hours, there is a potential for some isolated storms to develop west of San Antonio.

Should a storm develop, it may become strong to severe. Large hail and gusty winds are the main threats.

A similar setup is forecast for tomorrow, with only isolated activity expected.

Increased rain chances for the weekend

However, by Saturday evening, a frontal boundary will increase rain chances across the area.

Localized heavy rain will be possible with this activity.

Rain chances diminish some late on Sunday, but stay in the forecast through Tuesday.
