SAN ANTONIO – City officials kicked off National Night Out festivities in the Alamo City Saturday morning, hosting a celebration at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 76.
San Antonio law enforcement and emergency medical services joined members of the community for a pre-NNO celebration that included hot dogs, drinks and games.
NNO, which will take place on Oct. 2, is an annual event that promotes unity between members of the community, law enforcement and first responders with the goal of preventing crime and drug use.
The event gives members of the community the opportunity to meet their neighbors and socialize with police, firefighters and EMS.
More information about NNO can be found on the city's website.
