Bill Barajas joined KSAT 12 News in August 2013 as a general assignments reporter.
Bill began his career in the Rio Grande Valley as a reporter at KRGV-TV, where he worked for three years and gained a great deal of experience covering immigration issues, drug and human trafficking, as well as drug cartels operating south of the border.
Bill is proud to call himself a native Texan and was born and raised in Houston.
Bill is excited to be closer to his family in Houston, so moving to San Antonio was very exciting for him.
Bill is a proud University of Houston alumni, where he graduated in 2010 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Being a proud University of Houston alumni also means that he actively cheers for his alma mater and loves watching his Houston Cougars on the football field.
When Bill isn't covering the news and taking in a Cougar football game, he enjoys spending time with his family, working out and running with his dog, Sidney.
Bill also enjoys watching the Texans, the Astros and the Rockets but is excited to catch some San Antonio Spurs games.
