Max Massey comes to San Antonio from Nebraska, where he covered stories ranging from the Keystone XL Pipeline, legislative issues at the state capital, local elections and University of Nebraska sports.
Max is part of our "Good Morning San Antonio" team as a weekend morning anchor and a weekday morning reporter covering breaking news and working on enterprise stories.
Max has reported live on the shooting at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, Hurricane Harvey and the impact of the trade war with China on local farmers.
Max also worked extensively with communities devastated by Hurricane Harvey for our "Rebuilding the Coast" segment, and works with high schools in the San Antonio area highlighting graduating seniors with remarkable stories and bright futures for our "Great Graduates" series.
When Max not at work, he is watching or playing basketball and football.
You can occasionally catch him at Spurs games, as long as they aren't too late at night!
Max is originally from Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Penn State, and as you can imagine is a big Nittany Lion fan.
