SAN ANTONIO – Get in the know, San Antonio. Here are the stories that impact you and some you’ll be talking about at the water cooler this week.

Yet now the city of Converse is looking at annexing the Glen and two other neighborhoods in that area. || It's not something San Antonio firefighters see every day -- a house fire started by a giant tortoise. However, they believe that's how a fire started on the city's Northwest Side early Tuesday morning, causing major damage to a home in the 9700 block of Village Gate. || The San Antonio Archdiocese on Tuesday released a schedule of funeral services for Archbishop Emeritus Patrick Flores who died Monday at the age of 87. Shooting at random

Security footage obtained by TMZ shows the seconds before and after a gunman police say was Esteban Santiago opened fire at the airport Friday. A couple sitting nearby drops to the ground. Brrr! It is cold in here

Most people chose to stay inside this weekend. Temperatures plunged to the coldest South Texas has seen in over seven years.
